Cross Orchards Historic Site

Seating Capacity: 150

Amenities include: access to Bridal Suite and Orchard room, gazebo and lawn, and a variety of settings for photographs including gardens, historical trains, and historical vehicles.

The Gazebo at Cross Orchards in the springCross Orchards Historic barn and venue will be available May-October. Rentals allow access to the historic barn and site for a day and a half. This venue is available for weddings, parties, family reunions, special events, business events, or any celebration.

Rental Access Day one 12:00pm-11:00pm
Day two 9:00am-12:00pm

Rates vary based upon weekday (Sunday-Thursday) or a weekend (Friday-Saturday) renting.

Become a business level member and access facility use benefits!

    Business and Quarry Level Membership

    • Board room usage once per quarter

    Monument Level Membership and Above

    • Board room usage once per quarter

    • One other space for a single event (Dinosaur Journey Auditorium, Cross Orchard View Room, Whitman Building East Room)

    • Any other space usage will need to be applied for via the facilities use application

    Business Membership facility usage is subject to these parameters:

    Facilities Use permitted within the membership year

    All facilities use will need to be scheduled with Events and Development Coordinator at least 30 days before use.

    All facilities use will occur within the business hours of the site.

    All facilities use is subject to staff approval of the space.

    Complete an application, Facilities Use Application Fillable, explaining how your event is related to the Museums of Western Colorado's mission:

    The Museums of Western Colorado inspires and connects our community by championing the scientific and cultural heritage of the Colorado Plateau.               

    Event proposal will be assessed based on the relevance of the event to the Museum mission as well as how it improves access for our community to resources and opportunities.

    Preference will be given to events held during location business hours.

    All events will need to be scheduled at least 30 days in advance.
