Historically serving as the cultural connection to the outside world, trading posts influenced tremendously the history of the Navajo and Hopi peoples. One of the best ways to discover the culture and art of these reservations is by visiting historic trading posts such as Hubbell at Ganado, Richardson in Gallup, Toadlena of Two Grey Hills, RB Burnham near Chambers, Totsoh near Canyon de Chelly, Tsakurshovi on Second Mesa, and more.
