Jurassic National Monument Full-Day Trip

Meet at: Dinosaur Journey Museum, Fruita at 8:00AM

Minimum Age: 8 (guests ages 16 or under must be accompanied by an adult)

Description: Discover one of the largest dinosaur bone beds of the Jurassic Period, the Cleveland-Lloyd Dinosaur Quarry. Here, as many as 46 individual Allosaurus were buried. Did the large pack die all at once? Were they washed in from far away? We will discover what science says about this mysterious graveyard. We will also visit the USU Eastern Prehistoric Museum in Price, UT, to learn what other giants of the past once roamed eastern Utah. Bring your sense of wonder and curiosity with us as we travel west to an ancient world!

8:00 am – Depart Dinosaur Journey in Fruita, CO

10:30 am – Arrive at the USU Eastern Prehistoric Museum

Noon – Lunch in Price, UT

1:45 pm – Arrive at Cleveland-Lloyd Dinosaur Quarry (CLDQ) for Tour

6:30 pm – Return to Dinosaur Journey in Fruita, CO
