Our January Oral History presentation will be Cruising North Avenue—from First Street to Fruitvale, a history of the development of North Avenue.
The program will be presented by Priscilla Mangnall, President of the Mesa County Historical Society. Mangnall is a 5th generation Grand Junction resident and also serves on the City of Grand Junction’s Historic Preservation. She is also a member of the Legends of the Grand Valley Sculpture Committee, Art on the Corner Committee, and Grand Junction Senior Theatre. She is a writer of local history and teaches a local history class at Western Colorado Community College.
