Visit some of the highlights of Vernal, Canyon Pintado, Dinosaur National Monument, & more! What made DNM so important in Paleontology? Hear about Josie Bassett Morris, her husbands, alleged rustling, Brown’s Park, and her isolated homestead. On this fun-filled excursion to the Uintah Basin of Utah and Colorado we will see where some of the West’s great stories originated. From the historic Gilsonite mines and the Uintah railway, we’ll trek into the canyons of the Green River to outlaw hideouts, rock art symbols left by early Fremont Indians. Bob & Mike team up on this adventure to bring life into the tales and stories you’ve read about.
Trip Includes: Transportation, guide, & park admission.
Registration Deadline: August 27th, 2021
