Earth Science Lecture Series

September 19 @ 5:30 pm

Come learn about the history behind the scenery of the Western Slope. We've partnered with scientists from across the region (and the country) to present information about the geology, geography, and paleontology of our spectacular landscapes. Learn about Ice Age animals, deep-time minerals, cannibal dinosaurs, and much more. Lectures will take place in the newly-upgraded Dinosaur Journey auditorium and are open to the public.

Fall Day on the Farm 2019

Celebrate the harvest with us at this annual favorite event! Experience wood stove cooking, blacksmithing, woodworking – just like it was done in the early 1900s. More information to come.

We've outgrown our venue! So, this year we will be moving to the Masonic Grand Valley Event Center! Stay tuned for details on the event! Daytime performances are free to the public. $10/per evening for 13 years and over  Kids 12 and under admitted free Friday Evening  Saturday Evening

Author’s Party

Come join us at our annual Author's Party and Booksigning. We will have local authors on hand to chat with about their books in the lobby of the Museum of the West.
